An update from the official š¯•¸ handle of the Super Eagles confirmed the arrival of nine players at camp on Tuesday morning.
The latest arrivals include William Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi, Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Joseph Aribo, Igoh Ogbu, Bright Osayi-Samuel, and Ola Aina.
According to Naija News, a total of 22 players are now in camp as the team prepares for the crucial qualifier against Rwanda.
It is worth noting that Victor Osimhen and three other players were the first to report to camp on Monday.
The Super Eagles will take on Rwanda on Friday, March 21, in a must-win encounter. Currently, Nigeria sits in fifth place with just three points from four matches, making this game vital for their qualification hopes.
Meanwhile, Nigeriaā€™s Flamingos have secured a place in the final round of qualifiers for the FIFA Under-17 Womenā€™s World Cup after a dominant 5-1 aggregate victory over South Africa.
Harmony Chidi, who netted twice in the first leg in South Africa, delivered another crucial goal in the second leg, skillfully heading the ball into the net from a tight angle in the 37th minute. This goal, scored in Ogun State, Nigeria, further solidified the Flamingos’ lead following their initial 3-1 triumph in South Africa.
