PSG Clinch Ligue 1 Title Again as Nasser Al Khelaifi Hails Team’s Unbeaten Run

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) president, Nasser Al Khelaifi, has expressed immense joy after the French giants secured yet another Ligue 1 title, following a gritty 1-0 win over Angers on Saturday, April 5.
It was Desire Doue who sealed the victory with the only goal of the match, pushing PSG to an unassailable 74 points with six games still to play. This marks PSG’s fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title, cementing their dominance under head coach Luis Enrique.
Reacting to the win, Al Khelaifi, as quoted by football insider Fabrizio Romano, said:
“We are immensely proud to be crowned Champions of Ligue 1, one of the strongest leagues in Europe. Winning the title while remaining undefeated thus far adds an extra layer of significance to this achievement.”
He also praised the efforts of the players, Enrique, sports advisor Luis Campos, and the entire backroom staff, calling the triumph a moment of unity and pride for fans worldwide.
“This is a great moment for all our fans, both in France and around the world – and for the city of Paris.”
However, the PSG boss reminded everyone that the season isn’t over yet. With other competitions still in play, he called for full focus and determination moving forward:
“We will treasure this moment together as a family and with our amazing fans. However, the season is far from over; we must remain committed to working hard, addressing each match individually, and fighting for glory in all competitions until the final whistle of the season.”
