Endrick Embraces Humble Role at Real Madrid Despite Impressive Form

Brazilian sensation Endrick has admitted that he feels like “no one” in Real Madrid’s star-studded squad, acknowledging the immense competition he faces at the La Liga giants.
The 18-year-old forward, who has been making waves at Los Blancos, is determined to prove himself among world-class talents such as Vinícius Júnior, Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, and Rodrygo—whom he hails as “the four best players in the world” in Madrid’s attacking ranks.
Speaking after scoring a crucial goal in Real Madrid’s Copa del Rey victory over Real Sociedad, Endrick maintained a humble perspective on his role in the team.
“I’m no one. I’m here to work, and it’s not about who starts. I have to do my best and work hard to stay at Real Madrid my whole life,” he told reporters.
Endrick’s goal was his fifth in as many Copa del Rey matches this season, further cementing his reputation as one of Madrid’s most promising young players. Despite limited minutes, the teenager has already netted seven goals in just 530 minutes across all competitions, underlining his efficiency in front of goal.
Ancelotti Praises Endrick’s Impact Beyond Scoring
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was full of praise for his squad after their hard-fought 5-4 aggregate win over Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey semi-final.
The Italian tactician highlighted not just Endrick’s goalscoring ability but also his defensive contributions. The youngster produced a crucial clearance during a tense moment, a play that did not go unnoticed by his coach.
“That’s what we asked of him. He made a fantastic clearance. He doesn’t touch the ball many times, but he’s very effective,” Ancelotti remarked.
With a place in the Copa del Rey final secured, Real Madrid now turn their focus to a potential showdown with either Barcelona or Atlético Madrid in what promises to be a thrilling finale to the tournament.
