David Luiz Denies Cheating Allegations After Brazilian Woman’s Claims Go Public

Former Arsenal and Chelsea defender, David Luiz, has distanced himself from the accusations of infidelity and inappropriate advances by a Brazilian woman, Karol Cavalcante.

Cavalcante alleged that David Luiz, who currently lives with his partner Bruna Loureiro and their two children, initiated flirty conversations with her on Instagram using vanish mode.

Speaking to journalist Leo Dias, she claimed their chats grew increasingly intimate and, at one point, the ex-PSG star asked for a threesome involving her friend.

“We started talking and, as the days went by, the exchange of messages became more and more constant,” Cavalcante said, according to O Jogo.

“After our first meeting in Fortaleza, we continued to talk on Instagram, but in vanish mode. He even suggested doing a threesome with my friend, but I didn’t want to get involved in it. I started to realise that he had a bit of an aggressive attitude towards me, and that made me insecure and worried. He always hinted that he could do something with me.”

The claims sparked a wave of controversy in Brazil, prompting Luiz to respond through his representatives at ALOB Sports. The 36-year-old centre-back rejected the allegations, insisting that Cavalcante had been the one to initiate contact.

“Before any interaction, the player received intimate images of the person mentioned at different times to arouse the athlete’s attention. After a period and only for a brief moment, David interacted by messages, but there was never any face-to-face meeting between the parties,” the statement read.

It added: “David Luiz reiterates his commitment to the truth and trusts that the facts will be properly clarified.”

Luiz is known for his spells at Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain. He is currently playing as a defender for Cypriot First Division club Pafos.
